The VD 100 dilution stage is used for the targeted and reproducible dilution of an aerosol. By connecting the VD 100 dilution stage upstream, a generated aerosol concentration is diluted in a ratio of 1:100 and thus protects the sensors of the particle counter from contamination due to over-concentration, especially when using the AG 250/ AG 2500 aerosol generator. The VD 100 dilution stage can be used in conjunction with the AG 250/ AG 2500 aerosol generator and a particle counter to test clean rooms, LF boxes, microbiological safety cabinets and cytostatic workbenches.
